Sierra 266, Weston Ranch DQ

It went from a VOL matchup to practically a scrimmage Thursday, when one of Weston Ranch’s top golfers came down with the chicken pox to force the Cougars into a forfeit.

Sierra still got productive rounds from Elia Vazquez (48), Lexus Barnes (52) and Melanie Kisel (52).

Lydia McDonald led the Cougars’ effort with a 54 and Jonelle Mungcal shot a 58.

The 54 was McDonald’s best round of the season.
