The Delta Rebels junior varsity squad improved to 4-0 thanks to Saturday’s impressive Delta Youth Football League win over the Modesto Vikings.

Once again, they relied on strong defense in the 40-0 victory. The Rebels have surrendered just one touchdown and registered a safety in early season play.

Offensively, they’ve put up 40 points for the second time this year and have yet to commit a turnover.

Leading the way were Isaac Rosales, Michael Frisby, Delvon Bradford, Isaiah Sholuld and Christopher Contreras. This core group, according to coaches, has played together for the past few years while leading the squad into the post season.

The Rebels will be facing their toughest opponent this weekend in the Tracy Junior Bulldogs.
