Scott Blevins, president of the Manteca-based Mountain Valley Express, has announced a service center relocation within Visalia.

The terminal, formerly located at 30199 Bradham Drive in Visalia, has moved to a new location, a 38-door facility on a 5.5 acre site at 1619 North Plaza Drive, Visalia.

The Visalia Terminal will carry on operations under the leadership of Terminal Manager Kevin Underwood. He will continue directing a staff of 25.

“We are relocating our Visalia Service Center into a large 38-door facility about a mile from the space we currently occupy,” said Underwood. “The added space in the yard as well as the dock area will enable us to use 48’ and 53’ long boxes as well as give us the space to grow and take on new business”

Mountain Valley Express Co., Inc. provides trucking transportation and dedicated logistics solutions to a broad base of customers across the western United States. With over 33 years of shipping experience, the company focuses on regional and interregional less-than-truckload (LTL) services.
