Resident burned in home fire Monday night

A resident was taken to a local hospital Monday night after suffering burns to their face and arm in a fire that broke out in a home on Deborah Way.

When Manteca City firefighters arrived they found heavy smoke and fire in the west side of the home. There was heavy fire and smoke in a bedroom that firefighters knocked down. They also extinguished fire that had spread to the attic.
