All of us have read many articles and photos in which Phil Waterford appears. Photo ops? No way, not this man. He is the real deal. Driving around in my “Yellow Ribbon”, traffic stops, a vehicle comes up beside me, the passenger rolls down his window, says one of my tail lights is out. I tell him thank you and that I will take care of it next week, payday.

He replies, “no way, take it to my dealership and I will call ahead and set it up. No charge.” Then he says he is Phil Waterford. I, of course, respond that I know who he is and that he is very well known. Hard to believe, I know, but it really happened. He is now one of my gatekeepers and angel on earth.
