Carolyn Merrick Fatzer, 83, entered into rest on September 30, 2012 in Manteca. She was born on February 24, 1929 in Cambridge, Maryland. In heaven she joins her husband Edward Fatzer Jr. as well as her son Kevin Fatzer.

Carolyn is survived by her two sons, Rick Fatzer (Loretta), and Gary Fatzer (Jana), and her daughter in law Lori Fatzer. She was blessed with eight grandchildren, Krista Owen, Justin Fatzer, Evette Moran, Garrett Fatzer, Meghan Fatzer, Jacob Fatzer, Logan Fatzer and Vanessa Fatzer and eight great

Carolyn was a clerk for over 20 years for Porterfield’s Jewelers in Manteca. She was a long time member of St. Mary’s church in Manteca and Spring Creek Golf Course of Ripon. She enjoyed golfing with friends and playing bridge. She loved taking the time out to enjoy the beauty of a fresh bloomed flower. Carolyn had a heart of gold, she always took time out to send a greeting card to friends and family on their special occasions or during time of illness there was always a homemade dish to be delivered. Carolyn always encouraged others with her giving attitude and her cheerful spirit. Above her enjoyments Carolyn’s devotion was with her family. Her family always came first, she loved cooking for them, caring for them and most of all supporting and loving them unconditionally. Carolyn will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and nana.
