Warrant search yields meth, marijuana

Ripon Police officers take a 46-year-old man into custody Thursday morning on drug related charges on North Elm Avenue.

RIPON — Ernest Manuel Navarez, 46, of Ripon was taken into custody Thursday morning on a series of drug charges by Special Investigations Unit Detective Gordon West.

Ripon Police had been executing a search warrant in the 200 block of North Elm Avenue where they uncovered crystal meth, prescription drugs, concentrated cannabis, marijuana, scales and narcotics paraphernalia and indicia.

Navarez was booked into the San Joaquin County Jail in French Camp.
