Joanne Bianca Jacklich Sanchez, 80, entered into rest on October 22, 2012 in Manteca, Ca. She was born on April 27, 1932 in Oakland to Mr. and Mrs. Bianca and Frank Jacklich. In heaven Joanne joins her father Frank, her brother Frank Jr. and her daughter Joanne Elizabeth Sanchez.

Ms. Sanchez is survived by her mother Bianca Jacklich, children: Paula Sanchez and Frank Sanchez. She has two sisters Vicki Camara (John) and Jane Lewis (Jack). She was blessed with one granddaughter Frankee Sanchez as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Joanne was a resident of Manteca for 70 years. She was a 1950 graduate of Manteca High School where she remained on the reunion committee for many years. During her employment she worked for the Naval Supply Depot, French Camp School, Manteca High School and Lindbergh Adult School. She was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church of Manteca. She enjoyed gardening and sports. She cherished her friendships as she commonly went to lunch with her lady friends and traveled once a year to their favorite destination, Mendocino. She was most famous for her freshly made Biscotti cookies and her homemade pomegranate jams and jellies that she would can herself. Joanne will be remembered for her giving heart, her strong-will and her love that she gave to others. She will be missed.
