Amiee Pena, 18, was arrested Thursday for possession of stolen property and for a no bail warrant as Manteca Police’s Street Crimes Unit was investigating the manufacturing of fraudulent checks and other types of fraud in the 200 block of North Walnut Avenue.

Detectives have located two victims in the investigation and anticipate identifying additional victims, according to public information officer Jason Hensley.

Pena was booked into the San Joaquin Jail on the warrant that focused on obtaining evidence regarding the creation of the checks, officers said.
