Manteca Rec offerings Kid Zone, before school program & more

Manteca Parks & Recreation is starting this year’s Before School Program, PM Kinderzone and Kids Zone program on the first day of school which is Monday, Aug. 10.

Before School Program
•Locations: Stella Brockman, McParland, McParland Annex and Woodward Elementary Schools.
•Children can participate in the school breakfast program that costs 75 cents a day (25 cents reduced cost if qualified).
•This program will operate from 6:30 a.m. until regular school begins.

PM. KinderZone Program
•This program is for children in A.M. kindergarten.  The program operates Monday through Friday from the dismissal of AM kindergarten to the regular dismissal of school.  
•Locations: Stella Brockman, Woodward, Joshua Cowell, McParland Annex and McParland Elementary Schools.  Students must have a school lunch prior to attending the P.M KinderZone Program; an afternoon snack will be provided.
    
After School Program
•Locations: Woodward, Stella Brockman, McParland, McParland Annex, Joshua Cowell, New Haven, Nile Garden, Neil Hafley, and Brock Elliott Elementary Schools.
•Operates from dismissal time of school until 6 p.m.
•All of the above programs operate on school days only.
These programs have been designed to provide a safe and supervised location for children to participate in a variety of recreational activities.   
Arts and crafts, cooperative games, and indoor/outdoor group activities will be available.
The Kids Zone Program promotes the social, physical, and intellectual development of children.
Fees are $115 per month; $50 per week; or $20 a day for drop-ins.
All program registrations will be taken at the Parks and Recreation Department office.
