MODESTO – The Modesto Junior College Theatre Department will present Elephant’s Graveyard on Nov. 30, Dec. 1, 6, 7, 8 at 7:30 p.m. and Dec. 9 at 2 p.m. in the Little Theatre in the Media and Performing Arts Center on College Avenue in Modesto.

Elephant’s Graveyard, written by George Brant and directed by Lynette Borelli-Glidewell, tells of a struggling circus that stumbles into gory disaster in a muddy Tennessee town in the 1920’s.  It is the story of a town, a circus and a murder.  Building on historical fact and legend, Elephant’s Graveyard questions how good people, if only for a moment, can turn to evil for the sake of revenge or monetary gain.

Tickets are available at http://mjc.tix.com or 90 minutes prior to curtain in the Little Theatre at each performance.  Tickets are also available in person at the MJC Auditorium Box Office Tuesdays through Fridays from noon to 5 p.m. or by calling 209.575.6776.  Admission is $10 General, $8 Students/Seniors (62 and older).  This production is not suitable for young children.
