STOCKTON – It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Stockton as the city prepares to host its annual tree lighting ceremony on Saturday, Dec. 1, at 5:30 p.m.

Councilman Elbert Holman will have the honors of lighting the city’s official Christmas tree located inside the Weber Point Event Center at Center Street and Miner Avenue. Members of the Cesar Chavez High School Honors Choir under the direction of Mel Sugitan will also perform during this tree-lighting event.

Immediately after that is the Marina West Yacht Club’s Delta Reflections 33rd annual Light Boat Parade.

Yacht Club members will decorate their vessels with Christmas lights and ornaments, arriving in downtown Stockton at 6 o’clock, proceeding down the Channel and turning around at McLeod Lake, on the north side of Weber Point.

Lincoln Center

Santa Claus just arrived at this shopping and retail center at Pacific Avenue and Benjamin Holt Drive.

Jolly St. Nick and some of one of his reindeers can be found at Lincoln Center on most days, from noon to 4 p.m. during the holidays.

The holidays also include carriage rides, train rides and plenty of Christmas tree lights draped along the row of trees along Benjamin Holt Drive.

Miracle Mile

Pacific Avenue from Alpine Avenue to Harding Way becomes festive for the holidays with bands, choirs and orchestras to enhance the shopping experience.
