Jarva “Sue” Merck, age 74, of Stockton, CA, passed away Wednesday, November 21, 2012, at St Joseph’s Medical Center in Stockton. Sue was born in Bokchito, Oklahoma on June 30, 1938. She retired from Wonder Bread after working more than 30 years. She was a member of the CB club as well as a musician. She is survived by her son, Nando and Kimberly Garcia, French Camp, CA; Harlan Deno Garcia, of Stockton, CA; son, Roger Pelkey, of Stockton, CA; daughter, Debbie Eleuterius, of Mississippi; sister, Joann & Kenneth Ennis, of Modesto, sister, Pattie DeJong, of Modesto; brother, Marlon Brown, of North Carolina; uncle, Dole Harrell, of Oklahoma; and seven grandchildren and seven of great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Jarvis James Harrell, and her mother, Ida Mae Brewington.

A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by Park View Funeral Home, 3661 E. French Camp Rd., Manteca, CA.
