The Manteca Community Choir is staging an hour-long Christmas concert on Sunday, Dec. 9, starting at 7 p.m. in the Manteca Presbyterian Church sanctuary, 275 N. Main St.

The performance “Hope of the Broken World” is under the direction of Ann Talcott.

Voices for the King on Dec. 15

The  all men’s  singing  group Voices  for the  King is staging a Christmas concert on Saturday, Dec. 15, at 7 p.m. at the Immanuel Christian Reformed Church in Ripon at Fourth and orange streets.

A freewill offering will be taken for the Manteca Pregnancy Center. A nursery will be provided.

The group was started  in  October of 2008 with men from local  churches of  Ripon and surrounding communities.

The  group  was  started with the interest of a few men and the  skill of Barbara Viss as director and  Glen De Jong with accompaniment on the piano and organ.
