MCGEHEE JUDGED SANE FOR MOTHER’S MURDER, SENTENCING SET FOR LATE IN JANUARY

Dawson McGehee, 27, of Manteca was found to have been sane by a Superior Court Jury at the time he murdered his mother in the family home Halloween Night last year.

The second degree murder conviction handed down within the last three weeks will now stand with his actual sentencing scheduled for the last week in January with a minimum of 15 years to life in state prison plus one additional year for using a weapon.

Judge William Johnson has presided over the court sessions.
