Garbage collection will come a day later the next two weeks for four-fifths of Manteca’s homes.

The City of Manteca will not pick-up garbage for the next two Tuesdays - Christmas or New Year’s Day. Garbage collection won’t change for Monday. All other days will take  place a day later than normal. That means homes usually picked up on Tuesday will have their garbage collected on Wednesday and those on a Friday route will have their trash hauled away on Saturday.

Leaf collection will continue through mid-January.

Natural Christmas trees left curbside - flocked or not - and minus ornaments will be picked up over a two-week period starting Monday, Jan. 8.
