Monthly bingo returns this Friday; next senior breakfast set for Jan. 19

Friday Night Bingo returns to the Manteca Senior on Friday, Jan. 4.

Doors open at 5 p.m. with games starting at 6 p.m.

The cost of entry as well as the first pack of games is $10. Light refreshments will also be available.

There are bingo games the first Friday night of each month. The senior center is at 295 Cherry Lane.

Other activities

• DINNER & BINGO: Tickets go on sale Jan. 8 for the dinner and bingo taking place Monday, Jan. 14. Doors open at 5 p.m. with dinner at 5:30 p.m. No tickets are sold at the door. Tickets are $7. Dinner includes spaghetti, garlic bread, salad, dessert, and drink.

T: The next senior breakfast for those 50 and older is Saturday, Jan. 19, at 9 a.m. Tickets are $7 and must be purchased by Jan. 15.

The menu consists of sausage patties, Swiss eggs, orange wedges, cinnamon rolls, cranberry juice, and coffee.

• THE NOT SO NEWLYWED GAME: A takeoff on the TV game show “The newlywed Game” takes place on Thursday, Feb. 14, at 1 p.m.

Trips and tours

The Manteca Senior Center, 295 Cherry Lane, offers trips and tours that are open to anyone age 18 and up.

The trip and tours desk is manned Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. You can also call (209) 456-8652.

: Starring Cindy Williams at the Gallo Center in Modesto on Friday, Jan. 25. Cost is $78 per person. It includes show ticket, fine dining at Maxi’s and transportation. Departs 5 p.m. from senior center and returns at about 11 p.m.

: Saturday, Feb. 9, $48 per person.

: Friday, March 8, $40 per person.

: Wednesday, April 27, $37 per person.
