Jesse Arevalo Piceno, 68, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Jan. 4, surrounded by loving family. He was born on Aug. 21, 1940 in Amarillo, Texas, to Epimenio M. Piceno and Erlinda Arevalo Piceno.

The family moved to Stockton in 1948. He graduated from Edison High School in 1958. Jesse joined the United States Navy. He loved to draw, paint, vacation with family, and take pictures of his family. Jesse married, had three children and moved to Manteca in 1979.

Jesse is survived by his brothers, Fred and Elias; sister Cameron; daughters, Lisa, LeNora, Tracy and Jestina; grandchildren, Richard, Eric, Kiana, Anthony, Johnny, Mariah, Jacob and baby Jesse.

Mr. Piceno will be laid to rest on Tuesday, Jan. 13, at 1 p.m. at Santa Nella, San Joaquin Valley Veterans National Cemetery, 32053 W. McCabe Road, Gustine.
