City repairing downtown Manteca parking lots

Potholes in a number of downtown parking lots are about to disappear.

The Manteca City Council on Tuesday is expected to approve shifting $100,000 in federal Community Development Block Grant funds from storm drainage improvements to pay for the parking lot work. The storm system improvements cost less than expected.

Lots that are owned or leased by the city will be rehabilitated and re-striped.

The council meets at 7 p.m.at the Civic Center, 1001 W. Center St.
