Editor, Manteca Bulletin,

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Manteca and Lathrop Board, Parents, Staff, and especially the kids would like to thank everyone for making the holidays at the club a very special time for all the members that attended the celebration party and dinner.

The following individuals and organizations helped make the event a big success: Sunrise Kiwanis, Mountain Mikes Pizza, Grocery Outlet, Second Harvest Food Bank, Chuck Crutchfield, Alyssa Reed, JR Reed, Dave Jackson, Marine Toys for Tots, Lathrop Target, Doctors Hospital, Old Navy, Ron Tilton. The club was able to help eight families this year for Christmas and 200 members were able to get gifts for Christmas. The members had fun all day jumping in the jumper, making balloon animals with the clowns, watching the magician do magic tricks, and doing arts and crafts projects with staff. The day ended with a free turkey and ham dinner for the whole family in the gym at the club.
