Delicato 25th Annual Fine Art Show is awards ceremony is Saturday, Feb. 2, from 2 to 4 p.m. in the wine tasting room.

Over 200 fine art entries were received by Delicato. Last year over 10% of the art on exhibit was sold to visitors from all over the country. All art in this show is available for sale. The Best of Show by Joan Cardoza is for sale at $975.

All Delicato visitors and friends of the artists are welcome to visit, taste the wines, and vote for their favorite piece of art until the end of business on Friday.. The artist who collects the most votes will win the coveted Visitors Choice Award.

The awards ceremony on Saturday  is a wonderful time to meet the artists and to ask them about their art. The art judge, Frank Ordaz, will be in attendance. He has many interesting stories to tell including his involvement with George Lucas and his movies such as “Star Wars” and “ET”. We are looking forward to seeing his Power-Point presentation of his artwork.

“Be sure to attend the award ceremony,” Dorothy Indelicato said. “Mr. Frank Ordaz is planning on attending. Frank loves to teach and would be willing to have classes in our area if there is enough interest.”

Delicato Vineyards is located on Highway 99 at the French Camp Road exit, four miles North of Manteca. The tasting room, where the art is displayed, is open seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
