Carol (Carrie) Coniglio, loving wife to Frank Coniglio for 58 years, was born on December 23, 1932 in Salt Lake City, Utah and passed away on August 25, 2009 in Manteca.

She was preceded in death by her parents Katherine and Dean Kofoed, son, Steven Coniglio and her granddaughter, Kristi Coniglio.

She leaves her loving family, daughter, Jeanie Jacobs (Manteca); sons, David Coniglio (Manteca),  Dean Coniglio and wife, Cindy (Long Beach), daughter-in-law, Danette Coniglio (Colorado); grandchildren, Sara Geer and husband, Jason, Haleigh Coniglio and Katie Coniglio.

Carrie worked as a dental assistant for 40 years and a special needs aide for the last 11 years.  Because of her love working with special needs children at MacParland School they acknowledged her with a celebration in her honor.

Frank and Carrie were very active in tennis and Aridians.  Their lifelong friendships were developed through these associations.    Carrie was always known as a “trooper” through all aspects of life.  She was caring, kind, giving and outgoing.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Carrie to the Diabetes Foundation, 2720 Gateway Oaks #916, Sacramento, CA. 95833 or the American Cancer Society, 207 E. Alpine Avenue, Stockton, CA 95204.

Arrangements are under the direction of PL Fry & Son Funeral Home, 290 N. Union Road, Manteca. An online guestbook is available at www.plfryandson.com for remembrances and signing.

Only an immediate family memorial service is being held, but your thoughts and prayers are truly appreciated.
