When it comes to local styling, everything you need to know will be there on Thursday night at the Ripon High School multipurpose room as dozens of Ripon residents strut their stuff on the runway for the annual Almond Blossom Show Fashion Show taking place Thursday at 6 p.m. in the Ripon High Multipurpose Room. It is one of the final events that lead up to the Ripon Almond Blossom Festival. Feb. 22-24.

The six Almond Queen hopefuls – Alyssa Drennan, Anna Fassler, Lauren Van Till, Morgan Scott, Gralyn Pope, and Michaela Ratto - will be the highlight of the evening as they strut down the runway modeling everything from classic staples to the newest trends.

It is one of the last chances for the six Miss Ripon hopefuls to leave a lasting impression on the judges that will make the decision on who will wear the crown and sash two weeks from Thursday when a successor is crowned at the annual Coronation Ceremony at the Ripon Community Center on Fourth Street.

Tickets for the event must be purchased for $10 in advance at  the Ripon Chamber of Commerce office on West Main Street.
