Joaquin leads Buffaloes to VOL victory

Kaylee Joaquin carded a rock-solid 6-over-par 43 to lead Manteca to a 282-381 victory over Ceres in their Valley Oak League opener at Manteca Park Golf Course Tuesday.

“We should have a good season,” Manteca coach Greg Conway said. “I have a lot of good returners.”

One of those returners being Danielle Roberts, who turned in a 49. Also scoring were Chandler Rose with a 54, Micaela Dias with a 57 and Melissa Bond and Sierra Roberts each with a 79.

The Buffaloes will next head to Van Buskirk Golf Course in Stockton Thursday to square off  with Weston Ranch.
