Spartans get first look at Oakdale

OAKDALE — It wasn’t easy for Lathrop Wednesday in a 15-0 loss to the Mustangs, but then again, it never is when it comes to Oakdale tennis.

Shawna Hinson fell 0-6, 2-6, 1-6, Michaela Pauley dropped 0-6, 0-6, 3-6, and Jazlyn Simon fell 0-6, 1-6, 1-6.

In doubles play Mindy Pauley and Hargun Oberai fell 1-10, 1-10, and Chanel Johnson and Merchele Alegado fell 3-10, 3-10.

“Oakdale has a lot of seniors, they were tough,” Lathrop head coach Dolores Baluyut said. “It was good practice for us, that’s for sure.”

Lathrop hosts Central Valley this afternoon.
