A morning meeting for the City of Ripon’s oversight board to the successor agency of the Redevelopment Agency is scheduled for Monday.

This special session will take place at 8 o’clock inside the main conference room at Ripon City Hall, 259 N. Wilma Ave.

The agenda includes:

• Board members possibly adopting a resolution to approve the recognized obligation payment schedule for June 1 through Dec. 31.

• They’ll also look to approve the successor agency’s administrative budget.

Under the “Dissolution Act,” all RDA successor agencies are required to prepare a proposed administrative budget for each six months. From here, it goes to the oversight board for approval.

The RDA was disbanded about a year ago.

The oversight board consists of Ripon City Engineer Kevin Werner, planning director Ken Zuidervaart, public member Ernie Tyhurst, San Joaquin County treasurer / tax collector Shabbir Kahn, Yosemite Community College board member Linda Flores, San Joaquin County Office of Education chief financial officer James Thomas, and Ripon Consolidated Fire District’s Michael Restuccia.
