Christina Duran, 41,  had to wait to eat a late night snack until she got to county jail in the early hours of Wednesday morning after she allegedly rammed the Carl Junior’s fast food restaurant in the 1400 block of West Yosemite Avenue with her vehicle.

Witnesses said she was yelling profanities at the staff apparently feeling she was being made to wait too long for service as she drove her car into the drive-thru at about 12:30 a.m.

Officers located the woman in the 1100 block of West Yosemite several blocks away.

Manteca Police spokeswoman, Sgt. Jodie Estarziau, said the woman motorist was charged with felony drunk driving related to the hit and run.  It was her fourth DUI charge within the last 10 years, she added, which elevated the incident to felony status.

She was also charged with operating a motor vehicle while on a suspended license for a previous drunk driving charge – a total of four misdemeanors and the one felony.

Duran was still in county jail on Wednesday with her bail set at $122,045.  Her court date is set for Friday, May 3, at 1:30 p.m. in the Manteca Branch of the San Joaquin County Superior Court.
