Great Valley offers summer classes for children

MODESTO – The Great Valley Museum of Modesto Junior College is holding six weeks of science and nature oriented classes for children ages 4–9 starting June 20.  These popular programs cover a wide variety of topics ranging from animal adventures and science experimentation to artistic endeavors.

The classes are being held in the current location of the museum on the corner of College and Stoddard Aves. Each class is offered as a two-day series (Tuesday - Wednesday ) for ages 4-6 and (Thursday - Friday) for ages 7-9 for one hour from 10 to 11 a.m.. The cost of each class series is $35 for museum members and $40 for nonmembers.

The Great Valley Museum is a non-profit foundation dedicated to providing science and natural history information to adults and children of all ages through classes, programs and exhibits.
