Editor, Manteca, Bulletin

The Manteca Bulletin article dated May 14 is a great example of wasted taxpayer money. $3.7 million of our money being wasted on lousy, expensive, and unkempt landscape projects.

It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see what condition the trees and bushes are in! To make matters even worse, the City of Manteca is required to pay two guys $178 and $144 per hour to supervise.

If you want real supervision for the same money, I’ll hire 20 workers from our ranch. One supervisor will be needed with a water truck. I’m also thinking that with the left over funds I can throw in some fertilizer for free.
