Hazel Thomas, 97, entered into rest on October 7, 2009 at her residence in Manteca. She was born on July 3, 1912 in Arkansas.

Hazel joins her family in heaven: husband, William Thomas, siblings, Narry Dillard, Debbie Linville, and Jess Linville. Hazel was a resident of Manteca for 37 years.

Mrs. Thomas is survived by her only son Tony Eaves of Manteca. Her beloved grandchildren are Tony Marie Scott of Manteca and Steven Eaves I of Grass Valley. She was blessed by 4 great -grandchildren;  Cheryl Eaves, Stephnie Eaves, Elaina Hannon and Steven Eaves II and 5 great-great-grandchildren; Taylor Neemie, Steven Eaves III, Jackson Hannon, Ethan Eaves and Maximus Eaves. In addition she is survived by one sister whom she cherished dearly Dorothy Adams of Manteca.

Hazel retired after 25 years from Heinz Tomato Company in Tracy.  She enjoyed sewing, playing cards and a great game of Canasta with family. She found peacefulness working in her yard. She loved a great joke and enjoyed sharing it with others. Hazel was a very sweet lady who never said a bad thing about anyone. She always boasted about her family and how blessed she was to have each and every one of them in her life. She will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.

Donations in memory of Mrs. Thomas can be sent to The American Cancer Society 207 E. Alpine Ave. Stockton, Ca. 95204

An on-line guest book is available for condolences and special messages to the family atwww.plfryandson.com.
