Kathleen “Kathy” Marie Long

Kathleen “Kathy”  Marie Long, 52, entered into rest on October 7, 2009 in Roseville, California. She was born on January 20, 1957 in Tracy, California.
 
She was a resident of the Rocklin/Roseville area for over 20 years; previously of French Camp and the Stockton/Sacramento area for over 32 years.  Kathy attended French Camp grammar school, East Union High School and San Joaquin Delta College.  She was preceded in death by her grandparents Cristoforo and Domenica Bacchetti; Charles and Lena Long and sister Laureen Long.  

Ms. Long is survived by her parents Henry and Angie Long of French Camp, CA. She has one surviving sister Charlene Reece and her husband Pete of Tracy.  Her beloved nephews are Peter Reece Jr. and wife Angela of Tracy, Christopher Reece of Danville and Zachary Reece of Tracy.
 
Kathy worked for AT&T over 30 years in Stockton and Sacramento as a Maintenance Administrator.  She was an active member of the AT&T Pioneers, Board member of Aviana Home Owners Association, founder of her Bunko Group and a member of Rocklin Chamber of Commerce.  

Kathy was an avid sports fan supporting the Kings, 49ers and Oakland A’s.  She also enjoyed spending time with family and friends, playing bunko and bingo, attending concerts, going to garage sales, spending time at her timeshare in Lake Tahoe and taking short trips out of town.

Kathy touched many lives with her kindness and generosity.  She will be remembered fondly for her compassion and love towards others.

Kathy’s services are being handled by P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home of Manteca. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13,  from 3 to 6 p.m. at P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home, Manteca.  A Catholic Prayer Service will be held on Wednesday October 14, at 10 a.m. at P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home, 290 N. Union Road, Manteca. She  will be laid to rest at Park View Cemetery.
