Eulalia E. Lewis, 96 entered in to rest on Wednesday, July 24, 2013 in Manteca. She was born in San Jose, California.

In heaven she joins her parents, Manuel and Delfina Silveira, husband Joe Lewis, her beloved granddaughter Melissa Marie Sanchez and great granddaughter Elisabeth Sanches.  Eulalia leaves behind her daughter; Maria Sanchez and husband Lawrence of Manteca, grandsons; Joe Lewis Sanchez and wife Toni and Steve Sanches and wife Leah. Eulalia has four great grandchildren, Jonathan, Kelsea, Ethan and Luke.

Eulalia was a Manteca resident, moving here after her marriage to Joe.  Together they owned and operated their family dairy, a trade that Eulalia was all too familiar with, having worked on her family dairy since a child. While working on the dairy she tended to her house and family. She crocheted beautifully often making raffle prizes for St. Anthony’s Church to where she was a faithful member. She was a member of the legion of Mary and looked forward to their meetings. She loved her family dearly and cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren.  She will be remembered as a loving mother grandmother and friend.
