Charles Lee Eklund, 68, entered into rest on Tuesday, July, 23, 2013. He was born in Oakland, California on November 18, 1944. In heaven he joins his brother Dale Eklund.
   He leaves behind his parents Fred and Barbara Eklund of Ceres as well as his sweet heart of 28 years Suzie Davis of Manteca.  Charles has four surviving siblings, Gary Eklund (Sue), Debbie McGowen, Timothy Eklund (Cindy) and James Eklund (Barbara.  He has nine nieces and nephews, Tyler, Hillary, Leann, Tracy, Amy, Annie, Katie, Michael and Kimberly.
   Chuck, as he was known to his family and friends, served his country proudly through the United States Air Force. He enjoyed camping and fishing especially alongside Suzie. He loved his cat Misty who was like part of his family. Chuck was a life time member of The Tracy WildLife an organization that was dear to his heart. He will be remembered for his free spirit and his selfless love for others.
