Ripon Mayor Chuck Winn reads a resolution during this week’s council session saluting 10 members of Boy Scout Troop 440 sponsored by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for achieving the rank of Eagle Scout.  In part it reads, “These Eagle Scouts have performed committee service projects benefitting the Ripon community and have saved the city a considerable amount of money and staff time for the Public Works Department.”  The boys honored are Mark Bigelow, Matthew Gay, Derrick Lake, Kevin Thompson, Jason Williamson, Lucas Brown, Cole Herrin, Quinn McMurtrey, Ben Tolman and Jordan Williamson.
