John retired after 25 years working for various oil field companies as an oil driller. In John’s younger years he enjoyed bowling, fishing, camping and traveling to the mountains. He loved grilling for the family and enjoying their company. John left the area ten years ago after living in Manteca for over four years. When relocating out of Manteca John and his wife moved to Louisiana to be closer to family. For ten years John always said he wanted to go back home, always meaning “going home to California.” After rehabilitating in a rehab center for 18 months John received his wish of coming home just one week ago. He and his wife finally moved back home to Manteca, living in the beautiful community of Merrill Gardens, where they were truly happy and content “being home” once again.
At Mr. Brassfield’s request there will be no public services. P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home is handling all of John’s arrangements. To send a special message or words of condolences please visit their on-line guest book at plfryandson@carriageservices.com.
