Ms. Haynes is survived by her daughter Darlene Dickson of Manteca and her son William Shane Dickson of Texas. She was blessed by two grandsons; Travis Lee DeLine of Manteca and Jody Allen DeLine of Modesto. In addition, Ruth is survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family members whom she loved deeply.
For 20 years Ruth was a Manager for the Salvation Army - Seaside, California. She loved watching her TV game shows and relaxing with family. She enjoyed traveling to Reno and spending as much time as possible with her daughter Darlene. Her grandsons were her pride and joy; she loved them with all of her heart. She was known for her great cooking as she enjoyed preparing meals for friends and family. Ruth will be remembered for her positive spirit, her contagious smile and for her love of life.
Ms. Haynes’ arrangements are being entrusted by P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home of Manteca. Visitation will be held Monday, November 2, from 1 to 5 p.m. at P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home, 290 N. Union Road, Manteca. She will be laid to rest with her late former husband Lloyd at Mission Memorial Park in Seaside, California.
