THIEF HITS SF BAY AREA FIREHOUSE WHILE CREWS AWAY: WALNUT CREEK  (AP) — Fire officials say crews battling a wildfire at a San Francisco Bay Area wilderness park became burglary targets.

A Contra Costa County fire station in Walnut Creek was broken into this week while crews were out fighting the fire at Mount Diablo State Park.

Fire officials say the burglar broke into lockers, desks and gym bags and made off with money, an iPad and one firefighter's wedding band and watch.

A second firehouse was also targeted, but a sleeping firefighter scared away the thief.

Contra Costa County Fire Capt. Robert Marshall called the incident a slap in the face.

CLINT EASTWOOD'S WIFE FILES FOR LEGAL SEPARATION: MONTEREY  (AP) — Clint Eastwood's second wife has filed for legal separation from the actor and director.

Dina Eastwood's petition filed Monday in Monterey County Superior Court seeks spousal support and physical custody of the couple's 16-year-old daughter Morgan.

The Monterey County Herald reports the petition also indicated the couple had a premarital agreement.

The Eastwoods have been married since 1996 and lived in Carmel. They met when she was assigned to interview him for her TV news station.

Clint Eastwood, 83, was married once before, to Maggie Johnson, from 1953 to 1984. Dina Eastwood is 48.

2ND MAN TO BE CHARGED IN PHOTOGRAPHER KILLING: OAKLAND  (AP) — Prosecutors plan to charge a second man with murder in the shooting death of an Oakland Tribune freelance photographer who was hit by a stray bullet as he drove home from a friend's house.

Donel Posten, 37, already faced an attempted murder charge in connection to the gunfight that led to Lionel Fluker's death April 5.

The Tribune reports Alameda County prosecutors made a last-minute decision to charge Posten with Fluker's murder.

Prosecutors say Posten exchanged gunfire with 38-year-old Anthony Lister, a 10-time felon, who has already been charged with murder. Investigators determined the bullet that killed Fluker came from Lister's gun.

The 54-year-old Fluker was a passerby who got caught in the crossfire.

He took freelance photos for the Tribune from 1995 to 2007.
