FRENCH CAMP — The Haven of Peace emergency/homeless shelter will be hosting their 2nd Annual “Coming Out of Our Shell” Crab Feed Fundraiser on Saturday, Jan. 31. This year’s proceeds will benefit the Haven’s “day-to-day” operations so they may continue to offer a ‘safe haven’ to those in need in the community.

Because of generous support in the past, they have been able to house over 800 women and children in 2008. They will also use the proceeds to further support other programs that are vital to the development of residents and their children.

If you cannot attend, consider donating services needed or an item for the raffle. They are also in need of underwriting funds of any amount to make the event more successful.
