The Manteca Jaguars’ pint-sized players put on quite a show Saturday at Daniel Teicheira Memorial Stadium.

The Peewee Jaguars raced past the Central Valley 49ers 24-6, highlighting a banner weekend for the Manteca program.

The varsity and junior varsity teams also won by large margins, as the Jaguars completed  a weekend sweep of the 49ers.

The junior varsity team won 28-6, while varsity pinned a 39-6 decision on the scoreboard.

The Peewee’s victory was the closest of the three, but there was no shortage of excitement.

Ryan Borgeson rushed for 170 yards and two touchdowns and quarterback Lorenzo Ceja had a 19-yard touchdown pass.

Jesse Miranda anchored a defensive unit that surrendered zero points and just three first downs.

The 49ers’ only points came on special teams.

Junior Varsity

It was a special afternoon for Frankie Teicheira IV, who played for the first time in the stadium named after his late uncle.

Teicheira finished with two tackles.

The Jaguars rushed for more than 310 yards and six touchdowns, though an official score isn’t kept at the rookie level.
