Club special notices

• Members dues: Individual membership: $24 per member, includes T-shirt, Lanyard and wristband
Family membership: $48 for first two members, 12 for each additional member per family.
• Power hour: Monday - Friday 3 to 5 p.m. A comprehensive homework help and tutoring program. Power hour is designed to raise the academic proficiency of all Club members. Combined with Food 4 Thought, this program rewards Club members for participating and achieving goals within the program.
• Movie night: Is held every Friday night at 5:30 p.m. in the junior games room.
• Basketball leagues: Volunteer coaches are needed. Rookie League ages 7 to 9 and Junior League ages 10 to 12. Sign-ups are now underway for the 7-9, 10-12 leagues. Tryout dates: Rookies Jan. 5 at 6 p.m.; Juniors Jan. 7 at 6 p.m. See JR Reed for more information on sign-ups or on volunteer coaching.
• Karate Class: Free karate classes will be offered from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Advanced classes are $35 a month and are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Instructor is Robin Taberna. Robin holds a fifth degree in black belt in Tae Kwon Do. Adults are welcome to join either class by paying a $35 monthly fee.
• Triple Play: Triple is a dynamic wellness program that demonstrates how eating right, keeping fit and forming positive relationships add up to a healthy lifestyle. The goal of triple play program is to improve club members’ knowledge of healthy habits; increase the number of hours per day they participate in physical activities; and strengthen their ability to interact positively with other members engage in positive relationships.

• Nov. 23 and 24 annual telethon/ auction
• Dec. 5, county wide flag football tournament
