Golden West School, 1031 N. Main St., will host a Scholastic Book Fair on Nov. 16-20, from 12:30 to 4 p.m. to purchase books for children, classroom libraries, and the media center. Families, teachers, and the community are invited to attend the book fair, featuring the theme Destination Book Fair, Read Around the World.

On Nov. 19, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. the book fair will feature a special family event with contests, activities, refreshments, door prizes, etc.

The Book Fair will offer specially priced books and educational products, including new releases, award-winning titles, children’s classics, interactive software, adult books and current bestsellers from several publishers.

Book Fair customers may help the school build classroom libraries and improve children’s reading skills by purchasing books through the Classroom Wish List. Cash and credit cards will be accepted. Contact Jackie Bylow, Golden West School, 858-7300, ext. 56100.
