YOSEMITE NATIONAL PARK (AP) — Yosemite National Park officials say a family member has found a 60-year-old woman who went missing after leaving her home for a hike.

Ann Lory spent two nights in near freezing temperatures before she was found injured around 11:30 a.m. Monday and airlifted to a hospital. Park officials did not specify the nature of her injury, but said Lory was conscious.

Lory failed to return from what was supposed to be a quick morning hike on Saturday. She lives in the small community of Foresta near the park's western boundary.

Park spokeswoman Kari Cobb says Lory did not have a jacket, water or food, but officials have not yet had a chance to interview her about how she endured the elements.

The family member who found her was working with search and rescue crews.
