Tina Dunn, 45, was arrested Wednesday morning on a no-bail warrant in a joint effort of Manteca Police detectives and the Street Crimes Unit.

Detective Steve Harris said she was wanted primarily for not showing up in court for her sentencing in the burglary of items from the Manteca Target Store.   She was also charged with possession of nearly a dozen counterfeit $100 bills that police found in her apartment during a probation search several months ago.

Police have been making attempts to speak with her at her Pestana Avenue residence, but said she always refused to answer the door.  Officers spotted her leaving her house Wednesday morning and followed her to a parking lot in the 1300 block of East Yosemite Avenue where they made a traffic stop.

Detective Harris said after arresting her on Yosemite Avenue, they discovered a crank pipe and syringes in her purse bringing another charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.

During the past week police allege that she again took items from the Target Store – an act that was caught on the store’s surveillance cameras.

Officers said they went to her home and conducted a probation search and found a number of items that had been taken from Target.

She was transported to San Joaquin County Jail in French Camp, police said.
