No.5 Kentucky rolls; Iowa St. improves to 9-0

CHICAGO (AP) — Linnae Harper scored 18 points and Kastine Evans added 14 to lead No. 5 Kentucky to a 96-85 victory over DePaul on Thursday night.

Harper, a Chicago native who starred at Whitney Young High School, led a balanced offense as 10 players scored for the Wildcats (10-0).

No. 11 COLORADO 83 , DENVER 61

BOULDER, Colo. (AP) — Arielle Roberson had 22 points and 10 rebounds to help Colorado remain unbeaten.

Jen Reese scored 18 points for Colorado (9-0), Lexy Kresl scored 13 and had a game-high six assists, and Brittany Wilson added 12.

No. 16 GEORGIA 81, BELMONT 55

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Tiaria Griffin scored 20 points and Georgia returned from an 11-day layoff with no signs of rust.

Georgia (9-0) opened the game with an 18-0 run, led 45-23 at half and never trailed in the contest.

AMES, Iowa (AP) — Brynn Williamson scored a career-high 21 points and Iowa State improved to 9-0 for the first time since opening the 2001-02 season with 12 wins.

Jadda Buckley had 19 points and Hallie Christofferson scored 18 with 14 rebounds for the Cyclones, who are also 9-0 at home against the Hawkeyes under coach Bill Fennelly.
