William Hunter and Jake Van Duyn are scheduled to be honored at Tuesday’s Ripon City Council meeting.

Proclamations recognizing the two Senior Commissioners are in store during the 7 p.m. open session in the Council Chambers, 259 N. Wilma Ave. Ripon.

Hunter and Van Duyn both resigned but served with “dedication and distinction,” according to the proclamation.

Mayor Chuck Winn is expected to pay tribute to the two.

Hunter and Van Duyn have “given generously of his time and effort on behalf of this commission,” according to the proclamation.

Elected leaders could appoint Henry Dole and Debbie Tornell to the Senior Commission.

Dole is looking to be the voting member on four-year term while Tornell could be the alternative voting member.

Other agenda items include:

•    Council looking at Billing Document Specialists and Point & Play to handle the credit card for the City of Ripon on payments for utilities. An earlier request had been made to look at local vendors capable of handling the job.

•     Mayor Chuck Winn requesting staff to present the Way Finding Sing Master Plan initially created and presented to the City in 2008.

•    Councilman Jake Parks leading a discussion on his budget proposal for an economic development plan.
