Sister Ann Venita Britto and her Ministry of Caring will host the annual Valentine’s Day luncheon for seniors on Wednesday.

From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the St. Anthony’s parish gym – located at the corner of North Fremont Avenue and SutterStreet in Manteca – folks can enjoy a sit-down catered meal to mark this special occasion regardless of their religious affiliation.

They’ll be served by students from St. Anthony’s School and enjoy live entertainment.

The JRP Band is scheduled to play.

Sister Ann and her group spent the past few weeks preparing for the luncheon by making centerpieces and favors, using the Valentine’s Day theme. Those items and more can be had by the lucky winners.

As for her guest list, Sister Ann is expecting St. Jude Care Center, Prestige, Almond Blossom, The Commons, and Merrill Gardens, to name a few, to be in attendance.

In addition, those celebrating February birthdays will be recognized.
