Dorothy Halstead and Sheri Gray of Manteca, are announcing their plans for a commitment ceremony at Chez Shari in Manteca.

Their plans to commit to each other was announced on November 12, 2009.

Dorothy is the daughter of the late Howard Halstead and Rita Halstead. She is the granddaughter of Rosemary Young. Her siblings are Terry, Marie and Christine.

Dorothy graduated from Madera High School in 1996 and attended Bet’s College Medical Assisting. She is a caregiver.

Sheri is the daughter of the late Joann Gray and Mike Gray. She is the granddaughter of Tony and Thresa Abrew. Her brother is Brian Gray. Her children are Savannah Gray, age 13, who will be the maid of honor, and Anthony Golding, age 11, who will be the best man.

Sheri graduated from Lindbergh Adult School in 1991 and attended Kaplan College.
