1,500 DINNERS HELP LEUKEMIA VICTIM
Friends of Sierra Johnson, a 2008 graduate of Sierra High School who is now a sophomore at Sacramento State University, sold 1,500 Fagundes dinners during Friday's drive-thru event at Sierra High to help in her fight against acute lymphoblastic leukemia. She is tentatively scheduled to receive a bone marrow transplant in the coming weeks at Oakland Children's Hospital.
CAR WASH TODAY
Scenes from car wash fundraiser for Victoria Martin conducted Thursday at Les Schwab Tire Center. The former yard supervisor at the McParland School Annex is currently undergoing medical treatment at Sutter Tracy Community Hospital while battling cancer.
