Doggone mess along Crom Street

A couple of weeks ago, concerned residents in the Crom Street area made sure that children walk to school safely. They lobbied the city into creating a three-way stop at the corner of Foxfire and Crom Street, citing concerns about speeding cars zooming right past children walking to and from Stella Brockman Elementary School.

The Manteca Senior Center Advisory Committee and Manteca Seniors Helping Area Residents and Police combined flea market and yard sale is this Saturday, July 26, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be 30 vendors selling garage and new items, from arts & crafts to collectibles inside the Manteca Senior Center, 295 Cherry Lane, and SHARP will host the backyard sale directly behind the senior center building.
