Manteca Pumpkin Run is on

The Oct. 4 Manteca Pumpkin Run is still on. Doctors Hospital of Manteca has stepped forward to pay the $970 fee that the sponsor, Manteca Unified School Trust, needs to hold the event this year. The run, which kicks off the annual Manteca Pumpkin Fair that weekend, was cancelled Thursday because the non-profit organization did not have the money to cover the fee required by the city.
